Wood-plastic composites are composite materials made of wood fiber/wood flour and thermoplastic such as polythene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, or polylactic acid. In addition to wood fiber and plastic, WPCs can also contain other ligno-cellulosic and/or inorganic filler materials.
